Inspire Partnership Junior Leadership Conference

Posted on March 28th 2017Partnership News

The children are the centre of everything we do in the Inspire Partnership and we always value their opinions.  This week the junior leadership teams from Woodhill, Rockliffe Manor and Foxfield came together for our first Inspire Partnership JLT Conference to discuss their vision for the partnership.

It was a morning full of collaboration and reflection. The children spoke very confidently about their schools and what they thought their school did well and what they enjoy about attending an Inspire Partnership School.

They also spoke about the word ‘inspire’ and what this meant to them, they felt it was a great word to summarise their learning and that inspiration can come from teachers, each other and the world around us.

They also began to discuss a core offer of learning for every child that attends an Inspire School and felt this must include high quality feedback from each other and adults, a supportive ethos for everyone to achieve their best and an environment where children and adults can make mistakes but still feel included.

Finally, the children then brainstormed some strap lines for the partnership...

  • Improving children’s learning
  • Striving for excellence
  • Growing together
  • Making dreams come true
  • Striving for brilliance

Aspiring learner We are looking forward to the next JLT Conference and further cross partnership events and collaboration opportunities.
