NEW Extending Excellence in Leadership Professional Development Programme
This academic year we're excited to launch our new Extending Excellence in Leadership Professional Development Programme which begins on the 6th October 2021.
Extending Excellence in Leadership is a brand new 6 session leadership development programme aimed at assistant headteachers, deputy headteachers and aspirant headteachers.
The aim of the programme is to provide senior leaders with the skills, confidence and experience to be successful in this crucial phase of education leadership, as well as extend professional networks across multiple schools or settings.
The programme, facilitated by Rob Carpenter, CEO of the Inspire Partnership and author of A Manifesto for Excellence in Schools, will develop participants’ knowledge and qualities to lead at whole school level in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Each session will explore current education leadership themes building towards the delivery of a leadership project linked to a live school based challenge. Cohort participants will develop the evaluative and reflective tools to become more effective leaders, preparing them for future leadership roles. Four of these sessions will take place online via Zoom with reflective learning time built into the day. Two of these sessions will be in-person networking conferences which will be held in Central London.
