Welcome to our website! I hope it helps you to understand our partnership vision and philosophy, and to learn more about what our trust is achieving through collaboration across our family of schools. We are currently a group of nine primary schools working with a range of other educational organisations, schools and charities. We are really excited to share our story…
Our Vision and Values
Inspire Partnership
46-48 East Smithfield, London, E1W 1AW
Karen Giles, who served as the substantive headteacher of Barham Primary School and made a significant contribution to the education sector on a national level, has sadly passed away. Karen was the Chair of Trustees for the Inspire Partnership between 2018 and 2020. She was a leader who truly listened and made a significant contribution to the education sector on a national level. Karen served as an advisor to the Varkey Foundation, supported a range of education leadership initiatives and played a significant role in promoting diversity in leadership, not least in advocating for female leaders as well as the need for greater diversity in school leadership. She led on the Getting Ahead London coaching programme and gave up enormous time for others, including staff from the Inspire Partnership. In her time with us as Chair of Trustees, Karen made time to visit all of our schools and oversaw the Inspire Partnership as we transitioned from a 5 school to a 9 school Partnership. Karen always asked the right questions but balanced this with her full support for the Partnership. Karen was measured, reflective but ultimately a believer in teachers to do good and do right by children. She was a champion of Inspire, as well as a supporter of collaboration between schools. Her sharp commentary, sense of calm purpose and appreciation of inclusive education will be sadly missed. These thoughts are echoed across the education system as tributes are rightly being paid to her.
