A professional development offer to London’s school leaders.

The Leaders for London Programme (LLP) is a free, high-impact coaching development offer for headteachers and heads of school who want to further enhance leadership practice and improve the life chances of London’s most vulnerable pupils.

LLP provides participants with a blend of school experiences and shadowing, alongside coaching opportunities led by some of London’s highest-performing leaders.

Headteachers, Heads of School and Associate Headteachers who are working in schools that have more than 30% FSM and perform below the London average for key outcomes are encouraged to apply.

This programme will strengthen your personal leadership skills and improve your pupils’ outcomes.

Participants will balance group and individual coaching with school visits and professional development sessions.

The programme comprises:

• Group and Individual Coaching: Facilitated by high-performing school leaders with proven track records in school improvement.
• Excellence Days: Structured visits to outstanding schools to observe high-quality practice and "belonging" in action.
• Shadowing: Targeted opportunities to shadow successful London leaders in specific, identified areas of development.
• Webinars: Insights from nationally recognised experts, weaving in key learning from highly effective school-led practitioners.

The Programme will provide participants with practical tools including a new leadership framework to better understand what leaders DO, what leaders KNOW and who leaders ARE.

Our curriculum emphasises inclusive leadership using pillars such as Leading Attainment, Leading High-Performance Teams and Leading Curriculum Pedagogy. 

This programme is offered by Inspire Partnership in collaboration with Haringey Education Partnership and will run between November 2026 and July 2027.
